The Story:
Aboard the RMS Titanic you find yourself on the upper deck walking around aimlessly in the cold drinking a cup of hot coca. Suddenly you hear a splash and quickly look over the railing of the boat. Puzzled you see that all of the lifeboats are rowing away from the ship with a few passengers in each. You yell down to the nearest boat and say...
“Hey!? Where are you going!? What is going on!?”
Someone from the boat shouts up to you...
“The ship is sinking save yourself! There is only ONE boat left to your right! Hurry!”
You run to the boat and find yourself followed by a very unusual group of passengers who also heard the message.
The Situation:
The liner is sinking at a steady yet rapid pace. There is ONE lifeboat left. Unfortunately, there is room in the boat for only EIGHT passengers. There are THIRTEEN passengers waiting hopefully and patiently to get in the last boat.
The Questions:
Who will you allow in the boat to live?
AND
Who will you not allow in the boat to die?
What to Post in this Thread:
It is your decision who leaves and who stays. You are in possession of the last lifeboat and the passengers have agreed to trust in and follow through with your judgement.
Pick EIGHT passengers from the following lists of people and explain why you choose to let those people live. For the FIVE left behind indicate why you chose them to die.
Yes, you count as ONE passenger if you pick yourself and then... you don't have to.
The Passengers:
* The Captain of the RMS Titanic
* An HIV Positive Girl
* An Sixteen Year Old Boy
* A Rare Ownerless Russian Wolf Hound $$$
* Your Favorite Grandparent
* The Pope of the Roman Catholic Church
* A Now Widowed Mother and Her New Born Baby
* Your Best Friend
* A little Five Year Old Girl
* The President of the United States of America
* A One Legged Man in a Wheel Chair
* A Crooked Billionaire
* YOU
What are you going to do?
Think About it.
